As moms, we are all concerned about what our children watch, listen to and play, but really, how many of us have the time to sit down and check out everything first? Does that mean we should let them see whatever they want? Or maybe we should burn all of the tv’s, radios and game systems? NO! Thank goodness, those are not the only options.
Check out Plugged in Online. This is an awesome site that helps you stay informed about the media your children (and you) are taking in. It gives in-depth reviews of movies, videos, music, tv and games, laying it all out for you in a concise way so that you can check things out in a matter of minutes! They give a synopsis, as well as everything from crude and profane language used, to violent content, to positive elements. Everything is there for you to make your own decision on what’s ok for your family. It’s very user-friendly and with their extensive coverage, I have been hard-pressed to find something that I could not get a review on.
